DESCRIPTION

The Prestige 170 "Vesuvio" is a beautiful displacement vessel built in Holland by Pacific Shipyard. Although Vesuvio was built in 2007, she was not actually launched until 2019 following an extensive refit by her current owners.

She is built entirely in steel with a striking blue hull, full teak and a beautiful and elegant Italian designed mahogany and Alcantara interior. She has exceptionally comfortable accommodation with 3 cabins and 3 ensuite bathrooms with incredibly stylish Bisazzo Mosaic tiles, all with walk-in showers.

She is extensively equipped and has an endless specification including air conditioning, central heating, bow and stern thrusters and a fantastic hydraulic platform.

Also included is a nearly new Williams 385T Jetrib which is easily launched and recovered from the aft hydraulic platform.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a seriously high quality boat. The owners of this boat have spared absolutely no expense in her very recent refurbishment and systems overhaul.

Boat can be purchased in either Euros or GBP (GBP purchase subject to exchange rate and not below £410,000)

Owners Comments

Vesuvio is a stunning boat inside and out, robust as only the steel hulled boats can be but beautiful in her Italian design. She draws compliments everywhere we dock, she is unique (only 2 others were built but only Vesuvio has the Italian design interior).
We spent about 12 weeks last year between spring and summer exploring Naples, the Amalfi coast, Procida, Ischia and the stupendous Pontine islands. Sailing her has been a true delight and Deborah who in all our 20 years of sailing has rarely had the confidence to dock a boat - found that Vesuvio proved to be a “piece of cake” due to the aft and stern thrusters and responsive maneuverability. Additionally, she has an extremely comfortable motion at sea, enhanced by the hydraulic stabilisers which make a huge difference. The large island and hydraulic platform made raising and lowering the tender a breeze and added to the fun of our holidays by lowering partially into the water to create a submerged platform.
Life on the boat has also been wonderfully comfortable with beautiful and spacious bathrooms and walk-in showers, luxury extras and a kitchen like home! We sailed her to Pisa in September in difficult weather conditions but she was a dream, the steel
hull sliced through waves we wouldn’t have attempted had she been a different boat.
During the winter months we use her as our home away from home as the heating and comfort is so efficient. We now keep her in Pisa marina and are planning our next trip maybe Corsica and la costa esmeralda in Sardegna or Sicily’s Eolian islands.
Sadly our children are nearly all grown up and no longer want to spend extended holidays with us sailing and we have had to make the decision to downsize.
