This boat started its life as an I/O boat. Later, it was modified for twin outboards and modified again by its current owner to a single supercharged outboard. As interesting as this P & D 24 is, so is its history. P & D was a relatively small boat builder, but very popular in Miami, FL. Named for its owners Pedro & Dominick the P & D 24 was not only a successful boat model for the owners but so was the P & D 24 mold. They sold their P & D molds to other builders such as Excalibur and Pantera. Though the P & D company is long out of business the Pantera 24 remains extremely popular today among high-performance enthusiasts. The current owner has completed an extensive restoration that included replacing the previous twin outdated engines with a single Mercury Verado Supercharged 300XL for efficiency and reliability, and a complete redesign of the cockpit to include custom seating and foam flooring which makes the boat more comfortable and attractive. Other recent updates include eight new speakers, four large subwoofers, a new Simrad GO7, a new stainless-steel Revolution 4 with 14-5/8" diameter 19-degree pitch propeller & new Mercury hub kit, a full cover, and much more. The owner decided to include quality speakers and subwoofers in the interior design so the next owner could easily add their preference of head-unit and amplifier.
