This Outremer 5X has never left the Mediterranean which means that she has not suffered the wear, tear and stresses of her sisterships many of which have crossed the Pacific.

Owners Comments

I bought ‘Addiction’ in 2018 from her first owner. She’s my first Catamaran and I’m a total convert. She is light and fast, we’ve sailed at 24 knots but also cruised book in hand at 12-15 knots. She is never scary, there is a huge margin for error and plenty of time to react to big gusts. I’ve had a full main up in a 40 knot squall, you just lift the 7ft daggerboards and the boat slides sideways whilst you drop the main. Passage-making upright is such a pleasure, the sensation of motion and speed is still there but you can walk around and the crew are completely relaxed. Cats get closer to the beach at anchor and don’t rock. The biggest advantage though is space, the asymmetric cockpit on the 5X is the best of any Cat anywhere, add to that the huge lounging space on the trampolines and the palatial master cabin and you can see why they’ve sold nearly 30 of them.
