An excellent and popular Northwest vessel, this Ocean Alexander 40 Sedan has a full-length salon on the same level as the cockpit. A layout that affords more entertaining potential than traditional double-cabin trawlers, as well as direct access to the water. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a shallow keel for stability and prop protection, her two-stateroom floor plan is arranged with the galley forward in the salon, opposite the lower helm. The interior is completely finished out with teak woodwork and trim, and a deck access door at the helm provides easy access to the foredeck and covered weather decks. Additional features include Webasto diesel heat, extended flybridge, transom door, teak decks, and a teak swim platform. A pair of 135hp Lehman diesels (recently serviced) cruise the Ocean Alexander 40 Sedan at an efficient 8 knots.
Aft of the chain locker is the Master stateroom, with centerline queen, two hanging lockers, drawer storage. Moving aft, to port is the guest stateroom with offset berths and hanging locker. Across to starboard is the head with separate enclosed shower. Moving up three steps, the galley is to port, and the lower helm to starboard. Salon follows with a settee to port, and two chairs toostarboard. Aft through a sliding glass door into the cockpit. A ladder leads to the flybridge. The spacious flybridge features two captain's chairs, plus bench seating, with lots of storage under bench seats and helm.
