"Reel Ledo" was built by a 3 time Ocean Yacht owner (48,52,54) and no money was spared and every box was checked. She boasts 3 full staterooms with 3 en-suite heads. The 54 was one of the last models to come out of the Ocean Yacht Factory and was a proven designed hull, which made for a great ride. Ocean Yachts is widely recognized as having handsome classic sport fish lines with spectacular interior layouts and comfortable accommodations. This 54 is no exception. Ocean Yachts has provided three huge staterooms with three separate en-suit heads, without using cramps over/under bunks. Inside the salon, you are greeted with a warm blend of teak wood and fabrics. The u-shaped sofa wraps around the aft bulkhead and faces the Starboard pop-up TV.
The galley and dinette are one step up and feature Sub-zero drawer refrigeration and freezers, as well as concealed stovetop and microwave/convection ocean. Solid brass pulls and gold decorative inlays enhance all of the stain finished cabinet doors. Moving forward and down, there is a forward VIP stateroom with a center line queen bed and in-suite access to the starboard head. The master is to port and features an athwart ship queen bed with designer bedspread and pillows. It has its own private head with large stall shower, and his and hers cedar-lined closets with a lighted mirrored vanity in between. Heading aft, there is a full size front-loading washer and dryer, cleverly hidden behind beautiful bi-fold teak cabinet doors.
The aft stateroom has side-by-side bunks and private head. The cockpit features mezzanine seating, teak coamings and mezzanine floor, cockpit freezer, live-well in the transom, and fish boxes in the floor. The flybridge boasts more refrigeration, a spectacular center console type layout, tons of storage and seating, and single level engine controls.
The engine room is large and stylish with molded fiberglass non-skid flooring, fluorescent lighting and easy access thru the cockpit. The boat features C18 1015 HP CAT engines that push the boat at 29 kts cruise and 34 kts at WOT. This package is great size and value and carries the respected Ocean name. The in-line 6 cyl engines make the engine room very spacious and easy to get around.
