Accommodation
The Southerly 100 offers six berths in two cabins with 7 ft max headroom. The Forecabin has two overlapping single berths. Opening hatch to foredeck and lots of storage space.
The Saloon with its C-shaped dinette to port which converts to a double berth with a settee opposite. The upholstery was new in 2012. The Chart table and steering position is to starboard. It is rare to find these days but this Southerly 100 has her internal steering wheel still fitted although it has been disconnected. The chart table area has lots of storage and room for additional instruments. The Galley is to port with twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water system heated by the engine. There is 200 litre of freshwater capacity. There is a new three burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven, some crockery and a 12v Fridge,
There is a Quarter berth to port aft and a separate heads compartment with marine toilet new 2012 shower and washbasin. Blinds to windows. The boat feels very cosy which is added to by the Eberspaecher heating system.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway is a Volvo Penta DL30 three-cylinder, 29HP inboard diesel engine (new in 2011). Electric start. Freshwater cooled. Shaft drive to three-bladed fixed propeller. Rope cutter on shaft. Single lever controls at outside helm. Poly fuel tank with 60 litre fuel capacity. Last serviced May 2019. Lewmar through tunnel bow-thruster with controls at helm. cutlass bearskins last changed in 2012. Inboard shaft seal last changed 2012 and stern tube seals changed 2017.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12 volt batteries (1 x engine + 2 x domestic) charging from alternator and battery charger via a 240v shore power system with ring mains, Sterling battery charger, Rutland 913 and battery monitor.
Sails and Spars
Masthead rigged sloop. Kemp silver anodised aluminium deck stepped mast, boom and spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (age not known). Terylene running rigging (new 2017). inmast furling mainsail. Plastimo headsail furling system. Manual adjustable backstay. Lines led aft to cockpit.

Built by Northshore Yachts Ltd 1986. White coloured GRP hull and superstructure with moulded white coloured non-slip decks. Cast iron lifting keel and grounding plate fully serviced 2012. Wheel steering in cockpit (disconnected) with skeg hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit. Teak laid cockpit floor. Last out of the water March 2017:when hull was polished, antifouled and anodes changed. Previous owner spent £80,000 whilst in his ownership from 2011, receipts available. Owned by the current owner for past 3.5 years
