Owners Comments
We took up yachting later in life and, after sailing in many school and charter yachts, we knew what we wanted from our boat. She would have to look after us in a blow, be a welcoming home from home, have an engine that was easily accessible in an emergency, be well built and give us a view over the water when at rest. Our research led us to the Nordship 35 Deck Saloon and we have not been disappointed.

Our delivery trip across the North Sea confirmed her sea going prowess and over the last thirteen years we have kept her in marinas on the Hamble, in Plymouth, on the Clyde and at Gosport. We have cruised as a couple or with family or friends to the Channel Islands, the West Country, Brittany and in the West of Scotland.

Her design and construction are up to a standard rather than down to a price and from her teak decks to her internal joinery she is a pleasure to be aboard and rewarding to maintain. To quote our son: “only you could have spent so much on something so unostentatious”. We hope that her second owners will derive as much joy from her as we have but they must be ready for the admiring glances of mariners who appreciate her fine lines.
