DESCRIPTION

SIMPLE HARMONY is well equipped and well maintained. She had a substantial refit in 2010, with new teak deck, new flush hatches, new Park Avenue carbon-fiber boom, mast painting, new standing rigging – and more. This all contributed to modernize the exterior look of the vessel to contemporary standards.

Purchased by the current owner in 2013, she has since cruised the Caribbean and New England areas. She did do some charter in the periodbut has mainly been in private use. She has had continual improvement and maintenance and is skipper maintained.

The Swan 68’ series was a very successful model that encompassed beautiful lines, performance and a degree of robustness no longer present in most modern yachts. Safety is very good and typical of a serious ocean-going vessel.

Swan 68-003 was delivered new in October 1992 – before the new EU rules on Recreational Craft Directive, so she is exempt.

Under former ownership VAT was paid in Italy and this has passed with the vessel to the current owners. If a Buyer requires VAT paid status a sale must be concluded with the vessel in the EU.
