'Captiva' A 57' Semi Traditional Stern Narrowboat built in 1991 by Pinder Boats and fitted out by Black Prince.

Designed in a forward layout, this vessel offers a twin cabin located aft, a walk through dressing room, a masters cabin with a fixed double berth, a head/bathroom compartment, a galley and the saloon/dinette is found forward.

Powered by a Kubota 35hp 4-cylinder diesel engine. Central heating and hot water is supplied by a Eberspacher system. 240V and 12V electrics on board.

Blacked in 2017, Engine serviced May 2019, Boat safety certificate valid until August 2024.

At 57 feet she will comfortably take you cruising throughout the waterways network.

General

‘Captiva’ is a fantastic project for someone to develop and put their own stamp on. At 57ft she can used as a comfortable liveaboard or leisure cruiser that can cruise all forms of UK inland waterways. A flexible layout with great accommodation for up to 6 people.

Saloon

Attractive large feature twin windows fitted towards the bow allows light and views into the saloon with adaptable dining area. The three-seater settees located to port and starboard which can be converted to form a king-size berth. A wall mounted TV is fitted to port, perfect for some light evening entertainment.

Galley

A walk-through galley features a stainless steel sink, 4 burner gas hob, grill and oven, 12V fridge, port and starboard larders. A great place to show off those boating recipes!

Bathroom

Position to port features the bathroom/head with a pump out toilet, shower and hand basin.

Masters Cabin

Located midships is the master’s cabin with a fixed double berth and wardrobe aft of the bed. A ‘washroom’ with sink is found between the masters cabin and twin cabin.

Twin Cabin

Point of entry is via central stern doors which leads into the twin cabin. Two single berths are found to port and starboard with storage facilities beneath. Forward of the port berth is a wardrobe/shelving compartment. A great space for two additional berths or the possibility of converting into an office / additional wardrobe and storage space.

Electrics

The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat.

Heating / Hot Water System

A Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system is supplied on board running radiators throughout the boat, providing ample of heat on board, ideal for all year-round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running.
