'Jaunty J' A 50'Nottingham Boat Company enclosed bow, cruiser stern Narrowboat.

Designed in the popular reverse layout, this Narrowboat features a unique enclosed bow that offers the internal space of a much larger vessel. Centre stern doors leads into a well-lit, ventilated and spacious cabin. The galley is located aft with an open planned saloon with an L-shaped sofa/dinette, a walk through bathroom and the masters cabin with twin single berths is located at the bow.

Powered by a Vetus 36hp diesel engine. Central heating is provided by a diesel fired Webasto system running 4 radiators throughout the boat. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier, immersion when connected to shore power and via the central heating. 240V and 12V electrics on board.

BSS valid to 2021, Blacked in September 2019.

General

Featuring a unique enclosed bow this Narrowboat offers the internal space of a much larger vessel. Perfectly suited as a leisure cruiser or liveaboard. The layout features a fully equipped galley, a spacious saloon with an L shaped dinette, a walk though bathroom and master’s cabin is located towards the bow with twin single beds.

Exterior

Built with a cruiser stern specification with a curved bench seat across the stern at the helms position. The large cockpit has a sectioned floor allowing access to the engine. The engine control panel is positioned to port with a single lever gear control. The 240V shore power connection inlet is found just below. Coach work finished in a blue paint with cream coach lines and cream sign writing.

Galley

Centre stern doors and three steps with storage below leads into a well-lit, ventilated and spacious cabin. The galley is located aft and offers plenty of worktop surfaces for food preparation & cooking with domestic sized appliances. Equipped with a free standing 4-burner gas hob, grill and oven, a round stainless-steel sink with mixer tap and a 12v fridge. Plenty of storage draws and cupboard space under the kitchen worktops.

Saloon

An L-shaped style dinette that can seat 3/4 guests comfortably around the dining table. The dinette will also convert into an additional double berth when required. The saloons table can collapse and lock onto the wall leaving plenty of room for a coffee table/bookshelf etc. A 22in flat screen television/DVD player is mounted on the far side wall providing some light evening entertainment. On either side of the saloon features port and starboard side hatches with Perspex inserts, allowing lots of natural day light to come through and keep the elements out.

Head / Bathroom

A light and modern walk through bathroom featuring a vanity unit with a white ceramic hand basin and stainless-steel mixer tap, a Thetford electric flush cassette toilet with 4 spare cassettes, a large 800mm quadrant corner shower, heated towel rail and slate affect flooring.

Master Cabin

A tranquil and practical bedroom with two fixed single beds with a storage locker in between. An insert could easily convert this into a full width cross double bed, an overhead window letting in plenty of natural light, LED reading spotlights and aft of the port berth features a large full height wardrobe and storage shelves.

Electrics

The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the stainless steel sockets throughout the boat. When cruising, a Sterling Combi inverter/charger ensures you are never without power.

Heating / Hot Water System

A Webasto diesel fired central heating system is supplied on board running 4 radiators throughout the boat; providing ample of heat on board, ideal for all year-round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running and an immersion heater when connected to shore power.
