Thirty-eight tons of luxury and space this Futura 56 from the famous Mulder shipyard in Voorschoten offers. It guarantees a comfortable stay on board so that even living on this beautiful seaworthy yacht is no punishment. The luxury is expressed in insulating glazing, central heating, a generator, two spacious bedrooms with French beds, each with an adjoining bathroom (one with bath), a saloon with lots of light, a spacious kitchen and various seating areas in the various rooms. In recent years the ship has been seriously reefed by the owners who bought it from the first owner in 2014. Tens of thousands of euros have been invested to take it to an even higher level. Professional parties have (among other things) renewed almost all navigation equipment with the best possible options, blasted and coated the underwater hull and fitted a stern thruster. Technically, the ship has also been completely overhauled and, if necessary, tackled.
Our comments
- In 2014 the ship was inspected by Coers Expertise. All essential faults found have been rectified.
- Unfortunately, last year the current owner died suddenly and didn't get the chance to complete his dream. The ship has to be painted within a reasonable period of time and the teak deck on the aft deck is in very poor condition. As a result, the escape hatch in the aft cabin is also leaking. In addition, the owner had started the woodwork in the saloon. However, this is partly irreparably damaged and in our opinion it is better to paint it or replace it. - The pricing of this ship is very competitive. Low bids are pointless.
