Accommodation

The Moonraker 36 layout offers up to seven berths in three cabins with good headroom throughout and Ensuite to the master cabin.

FORWARD CABIN: Open plan to the saloon, a large V berth with infill to create a double berth with storage beneath. This is easily be separated from the main cabin curtains allowing increased privacy when required whilst retaining the spacious feel of the saloon.

SALOON: Dinette seating area to port with settee berth opposite, useful storage areas and cassette/radio stereo system.

GALLEY: Located aft to starboard and equipped with a 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, 2 x refrigerators, stainless steel sink and various storage cupboards.

HEADS COMPARTMENT: Separate heads to port with marine toilet, washbasin, shower, mirror and stowage.

WHEELHOUSE: Helm position to port with excellent visibility and full engine instrumentation, navigators’ position to starboard and access to aft cabin and deck aft. AFT CABIN: Double berth to starboard with dressing table, storage and Ensuite to port. Ensuite heads compartment with marine toilet, washbasin, shower, mirror and stowage. GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Hot and cold pressurised water system, water heated via gas boiler. Beige cloth upholstery heated throughout via an Eberspacher DL5 diesel heating system new 2019.

EXTERNAL SPACE: The flybridge has a central helm position with bench seats either side. An aft deck provides access to the flybridge and room for sunbathing while full grab rails allow passage fore and aft safely.

Mechanical Systems

The Moonraker 36 is powered via twin Perkins T6.345 175hp engines, twin lever control, giving an approximate top speed of 20 knots with a cruising speed of approximately 16 knots, last serviced 2017. Shaft drive to twin 3 bladed bronze propellers. 900 litres fuel capacity in one tank. Through tunnel Bowthruster The boat was last ashore in August 2019 for out of water service.

Electrical Systems

8 x 6 volt batteries in 2 banks, 24v system, Batteries charged via engine alternators and battery management system. Shore power system with ring mains. Full cabin lighting.

Moonraker 36 designed by Robert Tucker built by JCL/Moonraker Marine International in 1975. White GRP semi displacement hull, superstructure with flybridge and decks with non-slip surfaces. Dual helm wheel steering.
