For a boat of this size the aft cabin on the Moody 422 is particularly spacious and has a centerline double with all round access and of course an ensuite heads with hot and cold water. Not too big but with plenty of storage and a safe center cockpit, she makes a great comfortable cruising boat for a couple and occasional guests or a small family. Sail handling is made easy with her all furling rig and she comes well equipped and ready to go sailing.
The Moody 422 is a safe and stable sloop of 40.67 feet (12.40 meters), beam 13.25 feet (4.04 meters), draft 8 feet (2.44 meters), headroom 7.5 feet (2.29 meters).
The Moody 422 stability is inherent in its semi-heavy displacement. It's very low rolling character and it's ability to never slam in choppy water make it a very comfortable boat at sea and at anchor.
