We are pleased to offer to the market this unique opportunity to purchase a aluminium survey craft 'Noctiluca'. Since being built by the specialist builder Finnish builder Mobimar she has been in use by the highly regarded Swansea University marine biology research department from new for survey work.
She has spent her time afloat as a fully coded vessel and comes very well equipped and has undergone regular inspections and refits during her tenure with the university including most recently being refitted with 2x new Volvo D4 inboard engines during 2016.
The vessel is constructed from aluminium and comes equipped with a vertical drop boom pylon through a hatch in deck centre allowing vertical deployment of equipment and a lifting boom across the aft deck for deploying, recovering and towing equipment astern. A purpose built, stable platform she will suit a multitude of future uses.
The cabin comprises an elevated helm position to port with instrumentation with 4 bunk berth positions forward, a galley station to port and a heads position aft.
She has been inspected in Jan 2019 and the current coding certificate remains valid until 2021.
