Teekai had many upgrades during her lifetime, like standard mainsail to in-mast furling, upgrades to the navigation electronics, including radar & autohelm and from a cool box to a refrigerator box

The engine went from a single cylinder 8hp up to a 20 hp 3 cylinder engine.

Interior lining and windows just replaced.

We launched Teekai in the summer of 1983 at Dartmouth, which is my home port. Then in 1984 we started our travels.

We have been many times to Guernsey/ Jersey/ St.Malo/ Dinan/ Weymouth/ Torquay/ Hythe/ Plymouth/ Cherbourg/ Alderney.

Our longest all round voyage was from Dartmouth to Weymouth/ Studland Bay/ Hythe/ Yarmouth/ Cherbourg/ Alderney/ Guernsey/ Jersey/ Guernsey/ Dartmouth.
