A smart Scandi Mayfly 16
Coming soon from Norway an electric Mayfly 16 as new. Built by Creative Marine in 2000 for a private customer in Scandinavia she returns to the UK to find a new owner. This popular open launch has a 36 volt inboard motor and a folding forward pramhood which makes her eminently suitable for cruising on a large lake or even an estuary. She seats six passengers comfortably on beige acrylic canvas cushions. The fittings are chromed and the boat is steered with a tiller. Built to this specification today the boat would cost in the region of £35,000 with a pod motor. The antifouling has been renewed and the boat is ready to launch. The batteries were new in 2018. The boat will require a new Boat Safety Scheme certificate if it is to be registered on an Environment Agency Waterway or by the Broads Authority or CRT.
