From the reversed bow to the wide swim platform, the M42 is all about style, entertainment and unabashed fun. There’s a generous sun pad aft, wraparound cockpit dinette, and gorgeous cantilevered optional T-top. The sleek outdoor galley, with black carbon fibre finishes has all the ingredients for a fantastic day out or show-stopping overnighter in your favourite bay.

The helm is glossy and angular, with room for twin Raymarine 16 inch monitors and everything placed so the skipper can easily monitor the boats’ performance. A double wide helm seat has bolsters for standing, and footrests at just the right height for your preferred driving position and plenty of space for sharing the view.

Down below, the galley neatly accommodates a microwave and the countertop is generously sized. Ideal for light lunches, canapés or preparing sundowners. The Isotherm fridge comes as standard and will keep all of your refreshments perfectly chilled whilst the dinette is a welcoming space for a break from the sun and can be transformed into a spacious berth. Effortless relaxation, just add a few cushions and soft blankets and settle in.

Marquis has paid thorough attention to all of the details that make a difference to your day out on the water and your ownership of the boat. Access to the engine room is effortless. The entire sun pad lifts on hydraulics, allowing an engineer to walk down on steps to reach the engines and generator. The wiring and plumbing are seamanlike and tidy, the batteries accessible, making servicing tasks easy and efficient. Even better, a separate locker is built under the sun pad, offering great storage for lines or shore cords, and another huge locker under the cockpit floor easily accommodates fenders and sports gear.

When it comes to handling, Marquis hulls are renowned for their seaworthiness and stability, and the M42 has proven itself as both nimble and reassuring on the water. Once in motion, the boat reverse throws the spray out and away, with few drops reaching its smooth wraparound windshield.

The Cummins QSB 480 Hp diesel engines comfortably achieve speeds of 40mph, perfect for a thrilling yet safe ride. The inboard engines also create space for a fantastic hydraulic swim platform that can comfortably accommodate a tender or a jet ski.
