Headroom is ample and you can practically walk around the big twin marine diesels, which are positioned far enough forward to give the prop shafts a minimal nine degree entry to the water.

The design and weight distribution of engines and fuel tanks amidships contributes to the vessel’s superb “soft” ride and low planing speed. And with a 1020 Gal. fuel tank, you can head out to sea without worrying about the need to refuel.

Performance And Engineering

Open the electronic throttle and the 52 eases quickly up to cruising speed. With the engines positioned far enough forward to give the shafts a minimal nine degree entry, the five-bladed props can attack the water at the most efficient angle. So when you apply the power, the Maritimo doesn’t bury the stern and ride bow high.

The variable deadrise hull ensures the transition from sub-planing to planing speeds is effortless and a 500 nautical mile range (at 25kts cruise speed) makes true long-distance cruising a reality.
