This typical Alan Hill-designed long-keeled cruiser was built by Marine Construction (Marcon) and first launched in 1968 as the Cutlass, but extensively updated in 1974 as the Cutlass 27. The strong traditional design with short counter stern and long lead encapsulated fixed centre keel ensures good speed and sea keeping abilities. Four berths a 2 berth V fore cabin and 2 in the main saloon, a two burner cooker, chart table, and VHF in the cabin. Two batteries (1 leisure), a 3 way plug converter, radio, Garmin GPS128, Navico TP100 autopilot with tiller control. Powered by a Yanmar 1GM10 , the boat is fitted with both electric and manual bilge pumps, she benefits from a new bilge pump switch and engine control panel. This attractive yet robust boat is an ideal first boat.
