'Shuna' A Semi Trad Stern, 42' Narrowboat built and fitted out by Liverpool Boat Co in 2000.

Presented in lovely condition throughout, this Narrowboat is designed in a forward layout and offers a master cabin with a fixed double berth aft, a head/toilet compartment with shower and cassette toilet, a galley, and a saloon with port and starboard seating converting into an additional double berth when required.

Powered by an reliable Beta 35hp diesel engine. Cabin heating is provided by a solid fuel stove located in the saloon. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier and an immersion when connected to shore power. 240V & 12V electrics on board.

Boat Safety Certificate valid to August 2024, Blacked in November 2019.

Saloon

The forward cabin has direct access onto the bow well deck. A cosy saloon with a multi fuel stove on a tiled hearth to starboard with a bench seat alongside and TV/storage unit. Opposite a single dinette is found, this can be converted to form a single berth or an across width double berth, accommodating two extra berths.

Galley

A generous sized galley provides plenty of space for cooking with domestic sized appliances. Vanette 4 burner gas hob, grill and oven, 12v fridge, stainless-steel sink with drainer, storage draws, high level storage and cupboard space.

Bathroom

The shower room/heads are surprisingly spacious for a narrowboat utilising all the space available. A ceramic hand basin is set in a vanity unit with individual hot and cold taps is positioned to Port with a Thetford cassette toilet alongside, a shower is opposite the hand basin.

Master Cabin

Aft of the boat is the main sleeping cabin with a fixed double bed, X2 reading lights and high-level cupboards above. Additional storage / small wardrobe is found aft of the berth. Off center stern doors opens out to the semi-trad deck.

Engine

'Shuna' is fitted with a Beta Marine 35hp diesel engine. Shaft drive, 3 Blade bronze propeller, grease lubricated stern gland.

Electrics

The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat. When cruising a 1500W invertor ensures you are never without power.

Heating & Hot Water System

A Villager Puffin multi fuel stove on a tiled hearth is located in the saloon, providing ample heat on board. Hot water is supplied via a 240V immersion when connected to shore power, the calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running.
