The Kuipers 41 One Off is a strongly built bluewater cruiser fitted out to a high standard. With her twin keels, this excellent example also has the versatility of moderate draft for local cruising. Accommodation
The layout offers up to eight berths with three double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. There is full standing headroom and plentiful stowage throughout. In the forecabin, good sized V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. In saloon, dinette to port with settee berth opposite. The saloon table can be lowered to make a double berth, but the owners have never used this and do not have an infill cushion. Chart table to starboard with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water supply. 500 litre freshwater capacity in two tanks. Fridge/freezer. Mid-cabin aft of the chart table with two single berths (It is possible to remove the upper bunk to create more space) Marine toilet. In aft cabin, two single berths to starboard. There is a small double berth opposite to port which the owners currently use for storage. En suite heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. Holding tank. Radio/CD player. Diesel fired hydronic central heating (also heats the domestic water supply).
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit in insulated and watertight compartment, Perkins 4236 four-cylinder 80hp diesel engine derated to 60hp. Electric start. Freshwater cooled with keel cooler double bottom (no more worries about blocked impellers). Belt drive to shaft and three bladed propeller. Single lever control. 800 litre fuel capacity in three tanks giving a range of approximately 500 miles at 5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. In the engine room there is a workbench.

Construction
Built in 1981 by Kuipers, Woudsend to a design van de Werf. Multi chine steel construction. For added security the boat is built with three watertight bulkheads and has a walk-in engine room with a workbench. White painted hull with grey sheer stripe. Aluminium deck and superstructure with painted non-slip to deck. Fixed windscreen. Twin keel. Skeg hung hung rudder with wheel steering. Centre self draining cockpit.
