1978, TWIN keel, CENTER COCKPIT, 42hp Mercedes diesel with twin prop shafts, very tidy boat with much work carried out in 2012 including - keels blasted and primers (6 coats), main sail serviced, new sprayhood, new mainsail cover, new running and standing rigging.
MECHANICAL
Mercedes OM636 36HP inboard diesel engine with electric start. Volvo hydraulic gear box driving twin propellers through ARS hydraulic system. 2:1 reduction gearbox. Twin folding propellers. Remote throttle controls with separate forward/neutral/reverse for each propeller. 40 gallon approx fuel tank.

DOMESTIC
She has 6 berths including 2 "V" berths in the separate forward cabin, 2 single settee berths and 2 single berths in the separate aft cabin. Her galley has a flavel gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, sink with freshwater and seawater supply. 40 gallon freshwater capacity. Her separate heads compartment has a Blakes Lavac marine toilet with washbasin. Vinyl and fabric covered berth cushions.
OWNERS COMMENTS
"Mertiki" is a good solid family boat with lots of accommodation and the benefit of oversized marine diesel with twin hydraulic drives. She had much work carried out in 2012 including blasting and priming of her bilge keels, her mainsail was serviced and a new mainsail cover was made together with a new sprayhood, she was also re-rigged, both standing and running rigging. Overall thoroughly good value for such a large cruising boat.
