'Koinonia' is a lifting keel version of the popular Kelt 9M, well regarded for their sprightly performance, stylish lines, and comfortable cruising accommodation. She is presented in good condition for her year, is well equipped, and comes with an excellent sail wardrobe including a new mainsail in October 2021.

Accommodation
The Kelt 9m layout offers up to six berths in two cabins plus the saloon, with approx. 6'2" max. headroom.
FORECABIN - Fitted with a V-berth with infill to create a double, hanging locker, shelves, storage pockets, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.
SALOON - Consisting of settee berths on either side of a central table, with beneath berth stowage and shelves.
GALLEY - L-shaped galley aft to port equipped with a two-burner gas cooker with oven, coolbox, sink with manually pumped cold water supply, and storage.
CHART TABLE - Large forward-facing chart table to starboard with navigation equipment, electrical distribution panel, and storage.
HEADS - Separate heads compartment aft to starboard with marine toilet (new 2021), washbasin with manually pumped cold water supply, wet hanging locker, and cupboard.
AFT CABIN - The aft cabin has a cosy double berth with an integrated reading lounger, hanging locker, storage shelf, and an opening portlight.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - Teak cabinetry with blue velour upholstery (new bunk cushions 2021) and matching curtains throughout. Upgraded LED saloon lighting (new 2021).
Mechanical Systems
Located beneath companionway steps, Yanmar 2GM 13hp two-cylinder diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive with ropecutter to three-bladed fixed propeller.
In Spring 2021 the engine was professionally serviced, the head was overhauled, and the waterpump rebuilt.
Electrical Systems
2 x 12v (new 2021) Batteries charged via the engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains. Electrical distribution panel. 12v Socket. Full interior lighting.

Masthead rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Selden solid kicker. Mast-mounted spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2010). Terylene running rigging (new 2021 with new forestay 2021). Slab reefing mainsail with lazy jacks and stackpack. Kelt 9m built by Kelt Marine, France in 1983 to a design by Philippe Briand. White GRP hull, superstructure, and cream decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Cast iron shallow fin keel with lifting centre plate via a winch mounted on the aft end of the saloon table. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Black anodised aluminium toe rails.
A survey from 2019 is available on request, with the majority of recommendations carried out since including new seacocks, toilet, furling system, and running rigging in 2021.
