DESCRIPTION

Cool Breeze is a highly updated Johnson that received an extensive refit in 2018. Since then, she has been maintained by a full time crew. This Johnson has an innovative layout that was far ahead of her time. As a result, her full beam master rivals much larger and newer yachts. In terms of her layout, another unique feature are four well appointed guest cabins, plus separate crew quarters. In comparison, most yachts of her size only offer three. In addition to her large volume interior, this boat offers spectacular exterior spaces. Her flybridge offers a mecca for entertaining, and her aft deck lends an alfresco dining option. The hull and superstructure were painted in 2017. Cool Breeze would make a great live-aboard or large family cruiser. With reliable Detroit power, and only a 4'6" draft, this Johnson is the perfect Florida/Bahamas yacht.

The guest accommodations are comprised of two king cabins center lined fore and aft, along with two twin cabins midship, port and starboard. The port twin cabin also offers a pullman berth. In addition, there is a crew cabin forward in the forepeak. Currently used for storage, however the crew cabin offers two bunks and its own wet head.

Vessel Walkthrough

Boarding Cool Breeze is made simple with four options. There are port and starboard boarding gates just forward of the aft deck. From the stern, the passerelle is a nice touch providing a smooth transition from ship to shore. Finally, there are four steps center that lead you from the swim platform to the aft deck.

The aft deck offers a relaxing retreat from the sun as the expansive flybridge shades this space. Alfresco dining is offered in the center of the aft deck. Guests seat themselves in eight teak chairs surrounding a solid wood table. Twelve underwater lights produce a romantic glow in the evenings. There are port and starboard side decks leading to the foredeck, and a molded staircase leading to the flybridge to port. Center, and framed in polished metal is the solid glass sliding entry door to the salon.

Down three steps and in, you find yourself in the salon. There is a sofa to starboard with two ottomans that round out comfortable seating for eight. The salon is light and airy with light upholstery, glossed wood floors, and an abundance of windows all around you, providing plenty of natural light and a breathtaking view. To port, you will find a dedicated staircase leading to the private master cabin. Forward on port you find a large flat screen television along with a juice/coffee bar.

Forward and up two steps from the salon, you find yourself in the country kitchen. The galley is found to starboard with modern appliances, and all the comforts of home. To port, you find a large dinette for eight. Forward of the galley is the lower helm. There is a water tight door adjacent to the lower helm. Center, you find a stairway leading to the three guest accommodations.

The solid wood floors are found throughout the guest accommodations. To port you find a twin cabin with a pullman bunk, nightstand, hanging locker, and head with separate shower. To starboard, another twin cabin, nightstand, hanging locker, and a wet head. Forward, the VIP cabin is expansive. To port you find a vanity. To starboard a cedar lined closet. Center lined, there is a king sized walk around berth. The walls are burl wood, and natural light shines through four portholes.

Back aft, and down the stairs to the full beam master stateroom, you find a suite that rivals an owners cabin on a yacht twice this size. Natural light is abundant through three sides making this space feel bright and spacious. Solid floors and burl wood walls are a nice touch in this space. The king bed is center. There is a vanity to starboard, and a large walk in closet to port. The master cabin ensuite is accented with a vessel sink and mosaic tile. The master cabin suite is a private sanctuary where you can rest, refresh, and recharge.

The flybridge offers an oasis for lounging and soaking in the elements of your natural surrounding. Forward and center, you find the well equipped flybridge helm and two captains chairs. To port, there is a service bar with a refrigerator, ice maker, and a bbq grill. To starboard, a large L-shaped settee is below a bimini sun shade. Aft on the flybridge there is a massive sun bed large enough for your entire guest list.
