Lucas Yachting:New arrival Our latest yacht to be available and based in Torquay is one of the very successful Jeanneau Rush 31s, designed by Ron Holland whose Shamrock version became successful as a competitive half tonner. The cruising version as built by Jeanneau has the slightly smaller rig and an extremely comfortable and well-equipped interior. Deck layout is efficient with sail controls led aft to generous size self-tailing winches. The engine is a Yanmar 2GM20 ; 2cyl 18hp ; shaft drive ; 1998, Serial no. 27902, which is in good condition and provides reliable power when needed for this easily driven and well designed underwater shape. Electronics are adequate and entertainment systems fitted in cabin. Interior trim is comfortable with plenty of teak trim with varnish work all to a good standard. This well presented cruising yacht is in operational condition, however as a result of recent findings in terms of hull bottom condition, some keel work is needed, specific minor repairs to where sea-cocks are fitted and rudder also needs attention, all of which can be dealt with by a keen owner capable of doing this work himself.
