'Wisdom Calls' is a bespoke narrow boat built to the current owner's specification by Live The Dream Narrowboat Builders on a JD Narrowboats shell. It was completed in 2016  and has been their home since. We hold a comprehensive set of folders documenting full details of the build, an owner's manual and details of all the equipment and operating systems on board.
Although designed as a liveaboard vessel, 'Wisdom Calls' also lends itself to being used for leisure and possibly even commercial purposes.
The boat is available to be viewed 7 days a week by prior appointment please.

Construction
Steel plate - 10mm base plate, 6mm hull sides, 5mm cabin sides, 4mm roof, steel hand rails and T cleats, self-draining decks, International hull blacking, 4 x 2.5kg magnesium anodes, spray foam insulation, concrete ballast, double glazed windows and port holes throughout, two Houdini hatches, integral mild steel fuel tank and skin (cooling) tank, stainless steel water tank, mild steel gas locker (aft deck), pram hood with stainless steel frame. Spray foam insulation. Superstructure painted in mid-grey with purple coach lines. Hull last blacked in June 2018.

Accommodation
Accessed from the large cruiser stern deck via a starboard side door, hatch and steps, the accommodation comprises-:
A spacious saloon with bulkhead lockers to port, fitted shelving to starboard, stove to port, windows and Houdini hatch.
Built-in, solid wood galley with base and wall mounted storage cupboards and drawers, solid wood work top, tiled splash back, chest level fitted grill and oven, gas hob, fridge, compact freezer, separate sink unit to port with curved corners containing a Butler sink and mixer tap with cabin side doors above.
Port side companion way leading to a walk-through bathroom with a full size quadrant shower cubicle, corner unit with wash basin, composting toilet, electric shaver point, towel rail and port hole windows.
Doorway to the master cabin with full height lockers on both sides, fitted chest of drawers to port, side doors to starboard, built-in double bed with storage and water tank beneath, half doors to the forward deck, port hole windows, LED down lights.
The interior head and side linings are in white tongue and groove panelling with hardwood trim, light timber window surrounds, hardwood joinery throughout, window blinds.

Engine
Beta Marine B-43 4 cylinder diesel engine coupled to a Newage PRM150 2:1 gearbox, single lever engine control. Engine last serviced in March 2020. Vetus bow thruster.
