Grace is a glorious example of a 10 metre motor cruiser, finished to an exceptional level of comfort with a super stylish interior, twin engines and everything you need for coastal cruising or with a draft of just one metre she is also ideal for pottering about at weekends and for longer periods on our inland waterways.

Grace was finished in 1952 by James Miller and built to a GL Watson design so two big names in one package here. The construction is of mahogany on oak. The current owner fell for the lines but having moved house he is no longer in a place where the boat will get the use or the love it deserves.

The boat was moved to Dennetts in Chertsey where from 2018 she underwent a thorough restoration which included recreating the original design with a partially covered wheelhouse and a mount for a wooden dinghy on the cabin roof. On rebuilding the wheelhouse openings were made in the roof to give access to fresh air on clement days. The entire hull was epoxy treated to ensure longevity. New decking was fitted with good drainage. Mr Dennett senior says it is the best built boat he has ever encountered and over the years there have been a good many.

A full galley with oven, plenty of electric sockets, a fridge and work surface with stainless steel sink make this boat ideal for entertaining with a large table in the main saloon. The heads incorporate a modern shower and an electric flush. The aft cockpit is a great feature of this particular design as it offers the best of all worlds complementing the cosy interior (heating available) and making time aboard a real pleasure.
