'Fortaleza' is an 85ft Inace Expedition Motor Yacht, fully equipped for long range ocean cruising. She benefits from four very large and comfortable staterooms each with ensuite bathrooms and her multiple deck layout offers both space and privacy for guests to relax and work.

She benefitted from new blue hull paint and renewed anti-fouling in 2018.

Fortaleza's current owners have used the boat as a base for archaeological explorations housing a team of experts who have uncovered numerous ancient shipwrecks, working with governments, cultural institutions and universities to study sites that 'Fortaleza' has allowed them to access.

Fortaleza is very well maintained and looked after by her dedicated owners and crew, she is currently located in Yosu, South Korea and viewing is highly recommended to be able to appreciate all this boat has to offer.

General Information

'Fortaleza' is an 85ft Expedition Motor Yacht, fully equipped for long range ocean cruising. She benefits from four very large and comfortable staterooms each with ensuite bathrooms and her multiple deck layout offers both space and privacy for guests to relax and work.

Construction

The Construction of this 2004 Inace Steel Expedition Motor Yacht features the following:

Steel hull and aluminium superstructure: 

  • Shell Plating: 1/4 inch top sides, 3/8 inch and 5/16 inch bottom plate
  • Deck Plating: 1/4 inch
  • Keel: 3 inch x 10 inch full length
  • Frames Transverse: 3 inch x 3 inch x 5/16, with 1/4 inch floors
  • Bulkhead Plate: 1/4 inch
  • Bulkhead Stiffeners: 3 inch x 3 inch x 1/4 inch (or corrugate, where applicable)
  • Superstructure: 1/4 inch main deck, 3/16 inch upper deck
  • Paint: ʺInternationalʺ recommended coating system
  • Fairing: Full fairing on hull and superstructure

Watertight Subdivision, watertight integrity for the following: 

  • Fresh water tanks
  • Steering gear compartment
  • Engine room
  • Fuel oil tanks
  • VIP stateroom and Guest staterooms

Windows, Port Lights and Weather-tight Doors:

  • Storm shutters for all main deck windows (NEW 2011)

Exterior

The aft deck of this Inace Expedition Motor Yacht is finished with a teak deck, to aft is a bathing platform also finished in teak. The aft deck provided seating with a table, ideal for al-fresco dining; and a bar area with cabinets, sink, refrigerator and electric BBQ. 

The upper deck features a sun deck/flybridge with teak deck, bar area and lounge seating, conveniently covered with a sunshade/bimini. The bar is served by a dumb waiter directly from the galley. The sun deck also benefits from a built in Jacuzzi. The flybridge offers an exterior helm position with commanding views over the bow.

The master suite is situated on the main deck and features a centre line king-size berth, ample storage in hanging wardrobe lockers. The suite benefits from a sofa, Sat TV, 120v outlets, built-in safe, and book shelves. 

The master ensuite bathroom is located forward of the master suite and includes a Head Hunter head, granite counter-top and sink with storage drawers and lockers, shower finished with Italian Marble, and a Jacuzzi bath tub. Additional features include a lighted mirror, overhead exhaust fan, towel rack and granite flooring.

The VIP stateroom is located on the lower accommodation deck of this Inace Expedition Yacht. The VIP stateroom features a king sized berth, five wardrobe lockers with cedar lining, Sat TV and book shelves. The ensuite head benefits from a large separate shower. 

Aft of the VIP Stateroom are two further guest rooms, to port is a double stateroom with ensuite head with separate shower. To starboard is another guest room featuring two bunk beds (four single berths) and an ensuite head with separate shower.

Crew Accommodation:

Crew quarters are located on on the main deck forward of the Master suite. The captains cabin features a double berth, two hanging lockers, TV and an ensuite head with separate shower and granite floors.

Pilot House And Sky Lounge
