Accommodations

The interior layout of the Hunter 37.5 is one the most desirable you will find in a vessel in this size range.

Both cabins feature saloon doors which can be closed for privacy or opened for a nice “airy” feel.

Master Suite

The master suite is aft and spans the full width of the vessel. The berth will easily accommodate tall sailors. A huge 4 door hanging locker is to starboard and an additional hanging locker is to port. There is plenty of room for changing clothes and a private entrance to the head. Saloon folding doors offer the choice of privacy or an open and airy feel.

Head

The well-designed head is to starboard of the companionway. A private door leads to the master stateroom aft with the main entrance right next to the companionway.

A nicely appointed head has a vanity with a Corian countertop, two opening cabinets with mirrors, two additional cabinets below and a flush-mounted sink with pressure hot and cold water. There is a manual head and teak grate flooring.

The separate stand-up shower has a flip-down teak seat and a soap/shampoo dispenser.

Salon

The salon settees are comfortable with thick properly angled back and seat cushions. The cushions appear to be in good shape, but the fabric has some staining. It is possible they can be cleaned. If you decide to replace them, you should only need to replace the fabric and not the cushions.

The large port settee is U-shaped and has the table with drop leaf in the center of the U. The table can be lowered to create a generous double berth. The table appears to be in good condition but would benefit from being refinished. The starboard settee is long and straight and can double as a comfortable berth for one. There are cabinets behind both settees and teak staving on the hull sides.

There are 4 opening ports, two opening over head hatches, plus the companionway for natural ventilation. Marine air-conditioning will keep her cool when it is too hot leave her opened up. Four additional fixed ports assist in keeping her bright inside.

The nav station with an opening nav desk is on the aft end of the starboard settee.

Guest Suite

The guest suite is forward and has a large V-berth, hanging lockers and cubby-hole storage both port and starboard. A large over-head hatch provides excellent natural ventilation. Saloon folding doors offer the choice of privacy or an open and airy feel.

Galley

The galley is superb. A lot of counter space with room to move around and yet secure when underway.
