DESCRIPTION

Accommodation

See plan: Up to seven berths in three cabins. Approx 6'4 headroom. Double cabin forward, Saloon with two settee berths (one converting to a double) with drop leaf table between. Teak and holly saloon sole. Aft facing chart table. To starboard marine toilet in heads compartment with 110 litre holding tank, shower and basin. Galley to port with microwave, double stainless steel sinks, two burner gas cooker with oven and fridge. Door aft of galley to large aft cabin with athwart double berth. Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system (284 litres capacity). Curtained. Green upholstery. Mikuni MYH16 diesel fired central heating system.

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 3GM30F three cylinder 27hp diesel engine, 1998. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed pitch three bladed propeller. Single lever control. 110 litres fuel capacity in plastic tank giving approximately 240 miles range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. Approximately 2000 hours logged.
Alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt batteries (all 2014). 240 volt shore power system. Immersion heater. Battery charger.

Sails & Spars

Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Selden in 1998. Deck stepped mast with support struts. Fractional rig. Main sheet to "goal post" in cockpit. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazy jacks. Head sail furling system. Single line slab reefing system. The standing rigging is original, surveyed and re-tuned when current owner bought the boat, by Rig Magic, and all was fine. Running rigging led aft to cockpit. Lewmar 30 and Lewmar 40 self tailing halyard/sheet winches. Integral halyard tail boxes. The sails are original, they are laundered regularly and any minor repairs are completed at the time by the Sail Loft.

Construction

Built by Hunter Marine Corporation in 1998 to their own design. White GRP hull with style stripes and rubber fendering. White GRP coach roof with grey moulded non skid decks. Shallow wing keel version in lead. Wheel steering to spade rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Sugar scoop type transom. Cockpit arch with main sheet traveller. Wintered ashore almost every year. The hull below the waterline has been stripped back to the gelcoat for inspection/re coating and found to be good and sound.
