Developed for cruising from the Hunter 27 OOD class, the Hunter 27 design shares the same qualities of being stable under sail, close winded and seaworthy with easy handling. This example is fitted with bilge keels making her ideal for shoal coastal waters, rivers and estuaries.

With her comfortable bright accommodation, the safe cockpit and with her sound performance under sail, this is an ideal family or single-hander with passage making capability.

Accommodation

5/6 berths in two cabins with separate heads compartment. 

The main saloon features a U shaped seating area around the swinging drop leaf table, and forward 'Breton' style berth.
There is a good sized chart table aft to port with stowage underneath.
The galley is equipped with a gimballed Plastimo Neptune 2500 two burner gas cooker with oven and grill (new Dec 2005),  There is a stainless steel sink and cool box.
The aft cabin features a double berth with aft transom portlight providing good lighting.
There is a separate heads compartment with a Jabsco sea-toilet, a wash basin with locker and a mirror.  There is a holding tank fitted with both; over-side discharge or deck pump out.

Battery charging is by means of a 35A, engine driven alternator and a 10w solar panel.

A battery selector switch by Vetus is provided and isolates the 12V distribution switch panel.
