A transatlantic trailer-sailer!
The Tide 28 made headlines when it was single-handedly sailed across the Atlantic by a 14 year old skipper. Proving the capabilities of a well designed sub-30ft hull, it held a unique position in the market as a tough and re-assuring yacht, offering the huge advantage of also being trailerable, expanding its cruising horizons and vastly reducing annual costs. A variable draft of between 0.5 and 1.8m offered both excellent performance and the ability for shallow water exploration.
"Arcturus" is now ashore at Swanwick Marina and is ready to be enjoyed for the upcoming Season, and benefits from a recent set of Raymarine electronics as well as a RM road trailer.
