Easily handled by one or two, these traditionally styled yachts have a surprisingly spacious layout below, with excellent headroom and plentiful of storage. This yacht was sailed single-handed around Britain in 2014. This good example has an in-mast main and furling headsail for easy sail handling and has been well maintained and continually upgraded and is presented for sale in really nice condition. This yacht was built in 1984 and used as a demonstrator in 1985 by Halmatic before being sold to the first owner in 1986. Last out of the water March 2019

Accommodation
The accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins. There is full standing headroom (6’3”) and excellent stowage throughout. In the forecabin V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. Separate heads to starboard with marine toilet and washbasin. Hanging locker opposite. In saloon, dinette to starboard (converts to double) with settee berth opposite, upholstery finished in blue velvet. Saloon table with opening leaf. Chart table to starboard with galley opposite. Wet hanging locker. Two burner gimballed Taylors paraffin cooker with two rings. Stainless steel sink with pressurised pumped water supply. 30-gallon freshwater capacity in stainless steel tank. Cool box with WAECO compressor and evaporator. Radio/CD player new in 2018. Berths fitted with lee cloths. Heated throughout via an Eberspacher diesel heating system.

Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway, 1985 Volvo MD7B two-cylinder 17hp diesel engine. Engine hours 705 since the new engine hour metre installed in 2013. Electric start, direct cooling Shaft drive to two bladed fixed propeller. Single lever control. 50 litre fuel capacity in stainless steel tank giving approximately 190-mile range at 5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 6 knots. The engine has been regularly serviced by the owner.

2 x 12-volt 88Ah 2014 batteries charging from the engine alternator, solar panel, NASA BMI battery management system. Shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, 300w inverter.

History and Construction
Built in 1985 by Halmatic to a design by John Sharp. Light blue GRP hull. Teak toe rail. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to the deck. Long keel with external cast iron ballast. Keel hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self-draining cockpit. Full professional Osmosis treatment carried out in 2004. This yacht was sailed single-handed around Britain in 2014.
