Denis Ganley received many accolades during his 35 year career, including winning the 1986 Steel Award for best Consumer product with the Pacemaker 40 design (a first for these awards). Many of his designs have made remarkable passages offshore and have successfully competed in various regattas and other events.
Denis' legacy lives on with his designs, and his daughter Denise can now be contacted with any enquiries.

"Moon Tide" was built in New Zeeland where a 30 knots wind is just another average day. If a NZ built boat is not strong, it will not last! This boat is a great example. Modified keel and full skeg rudder will give you great course tracking and fair maneuvering when in close quarters.
