About this Floating Homes 50 Semi-Trad
'Avalon' is a well presented, semi-traditional stern narrow boat that has been used as a live aboard vessel for the past three years. The aft deck area is protected by a pram hood with access to the engine and bilge, gas and stowage lockers. A pair of steel doors and a sliding hatch lead to the main (aft) cabin via a set of steps with lockers on both sides containing the electrical controls, and expansion and header tanks for the heating system, storage lockers, a fixed double bed with storage and toilet holding tank beneath, overhead lockers with spot lights, radiator and port hole windows.
Starboard side corridor, sliding door to the bathroom with a built in shower cubicle with curtain, wash basin with mixer tap mounted on a vanity unit, heated towel radiator, shelf storage, mosaic effect vinyl flooring, Thetford cassette toilet, combined spot light and fan, port hole window.
Walk through galley comprising matching base and overhead units, black laminate work top and upstand, separate stainless steel bowl sink and drainer with mixer tap, fitted oven and hob, port hole window and half doors on the starboard side, large window to port, spot lights.
Open plan saloon forward with fitted shelving and locker along the port side, radiator and multi fuel stove to starboard, large windows on both sides and forward, spot and wall lights, timber step and double doors lead to the foredeck.
The interior is a good quality fit out in hardwood and faced ply with laminate flooring and finished with fabric covered port hole bungs and curtains.
