This Fisher 25 is a lovely example which has fine lines and feels like a real little ship. She has been well looked after over the years as is evident from the 21 January 2010 favourable survey. All items mentioned in the survey that needed attention have been done. The boat was refurbished in 2006. Great side-decks which make her a very good boat for people with children or animals.

The current owner is so happy with this boat that he is now going to buy a larger Fisher. This boat is very well laid out and provides fantastic accommodation for a boat of this size. She is clean and tidy in appearance, looks good and smells nice too with no hint of dampness below.

The Fisher 25 is deceptively large on accommodation with three separate working areas. The fore cabin has full standing headroom. There are two single berths with storage underneath that. To starboard there is a sea toilet, hooks for hanging clothes and storage for the saloon table. Opposite there is a food storage cupboard, and beneath is a cupboard where charts etc. can be stowed. This cupboard also contains a radio-cassette player and a multi-CD changer. Further aft to starboard, are two storage cupboards. The woodwork gives a warmth down below and the joinery is to a high standard.
The Saloon has a dinette to port that converts to a double bed with a large amount of storage underneath and outboard. On the starboard side, there is a linear galley with an enormous storage area fitted with a fold-away pressurised cold water tap, stainless steel sink and a 2-ring gas burner and grill. Further aft is another large storage compartment that contains the gas oven. Heated throughout via a Webasto warm air heating system
Next we have the enclosed wheelhouse which provides an excellent haven from the elements when at sea. There is a drop-down seat for the helmsman to port and another drop-down seat to starboard for two people. The refrigerator is located behind the helmsman’s seat – very handy! The entire floor of the wheelhouse can be removed to give full access to all areas of the engine compartment. There are seats cockpit to enjoy al fresco meals and whilst underway. A tiller can be fitted to allow a greater feeing of control when under sail.
The Fisher 25 is ketch rigged aluminium spars (1976) with deck stepped mast, stainless standing rigging and furling genoa.
The Fisher 25 is powered by a single 3-cylinder Beta Marine 25hp diesel engine with approximately 250 hours, shaft drive to a 3 bladed bronze propeller. This Fisher 25 was laid up from 1981 for 15 years. She underwent extensive refurbishment and engine renewal in 2006 and was then put to sea in 2008. This boat has the feel of a real little ship even though she is only 25'. Since then, she has been well-maintained and has had a number of upgrades including a high tech JAYCAR Ultrasonic Antifouling system. She benefits from good navigational equipment and cabin heating. She is a lovely vessel and will serve her new owners well and one of the best example of this type.
The Fisher 25 built by Fairways Marine/Northshore yachts has a heavy duty laid GRP moulding hull with a GRP deck with Treadmaster, Balsa stiffening incorporated in all horizontal areas with plywood infill’s.
