It has had a considerable amount of money spent on it over the past few years including new canopy, new props and updated electronics. The Targa 33 is a popular, fast offshore sports cruiser. It offers good accommodation, cockpit seating and sunbathing facilities for all the family for extended cruising. Current owner has made many improvements and she is ready for anyone looking to get afloat as soon as the lockdown is lifted. This Fairline Targa 33 is fitted with twin Volvo TAMD41B/DP (2 x 200hp) shaft drive diesel engines. Video viewing highly recommended.
ACCOMMODATION:
The accommodation offers up to six berths in two sleeping cabins and the saloon with good headroom throughout (6'2" in saloon).
FORECABIN: Considered to be the owners cabin and fitted with an offset double berth to starboard with stowage beneath, mirror, hanging locker, small dressing table and other useful storage. Ventilation and natural light provided by an opening hatch to foredeck with blind and two opening portlights.
SALOON: An L-shaped dinette is located to starboard which can convert to a 7' length double berth with stowage beneath seating and high level lockers. Two opening portlights and mirror. It has a radio/CD player and TV/DVD player fitted.
GALLEY: There is a linear galley to port equipped with a 2-burner gas hob, microwave, 12v refrigerator, stainless steel sink and ample storage in various lockers and drawers. Opening portlight.
HEADS: The toilet and shower compartment is fitted with a marine toilet, shower with shower curtain, wash basin, shaver point, mirror, toiletry locker and opening port light.
AFT CABIN: Offering a double berth (7'x4') with stowage beneath, wardrobe, cupboard, shelves, ceiling and reading lights, opening window to cockpit and opening portlight.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: The boat is fitted with pressurised hot and cold freshwater system which is heated via a calorifier with shore power immersion coil. An electric warm air heather is also fitted. Beige leather saloon upholstery with original Fairline upholstery to sleeping cabins. Complimenting curtains and cream carpet throughout.
EXTERNAL SPACE: The teak effect laid self-draining aft cockpit has a helm position with an adjustable seat to starboard and navigators position to port with chart locker, allowing seating for at least four adults forward. Aft to starboard is a large L-shaped seating area with cockpit table which converts to a double sunbed. Removable luxury alternative teak cockpit table with folding leaves. Opposite to starboard is a wet bar area. Various storage areas with dedicated sunpad locker to starboard. Full cockpit canopy with zipped door and forward section converting to bimini top. Walk-thru transom to a bathing platform with hot and cold shower and detachable swim ladder.

Fairline Targa 33 built by Fairline Boats Ltd. in 1990 to a Bernard Olesinski and Fairline design. Blue GRP planing hull with white styling stripes, superstructure, radar arch and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Integrated GRP bathing platform. Teak effect laid cockpit sole.
Brokers Comments:
The Fairline Targa 33 is a very popular fast offshore sports cruiser. This boat has been owned by the current owner for the past four years. She was last surveyed in November 2016 for the current owner. She has been based in Gillingham and Brighton for a considerable number of years. The vessel has been updated and has had regular maintenance completed. She is currently ashore and will be antifouled ready to be re-launched as lock is lifted in 2021.
Mechanical Systems:
Located beneath cockpit sole with power access, twin Volvo Penta TAMD41B/DP 200hp 6-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines. Fresh water cooled via heat exchangers. Dual single lever throttle controls with electric start. Power hydraulic wheel steering. Twin Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrives with power trim and tilt. Aluminium DuoProp propellers. New props were fitted in October 2019. Full engine instrumentation.
The engines and outdrives appear to have been maintained to a high standard and are in very good condition. Engines were last serviced in July 2019 and the outdrives and bellows changed in October 2019. The boat has an approximate cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of approximately 30 knots. It has a GRP fuel tank that holds approximately 613 litres.
Electrical Systems:
5 x 12 volt batteries (2 x engine new 2019 + 2 x domestic 1 x anchor batteries) charging from alternator and via 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger.
