DESCRIPTION

Standard layout with galley to starboard and navigation area to port. Owner completed as a sailaway , she benefits from some nice joinery touches and extra drawers and shelving in cherry veneer. U-shaped saloon area with option of saloon table position either forward or aft, the forward area can be easily converted into a large double berth leaving the aft seating free. Port and Starboard stern cabins each have a small wardrobe , drawer and shelf area with small seat opposite and a double berth with more shelf storage aft. Starboard forward cabin has a smaller double berth the same wardrobe arrange ment and shelving forward. Port forward is a sea water toilet and shower room, with sink and gas "ascot" type hot water heater. Forward of this is plenty of hanging space for sailing clothing and storage space for sails, oars, wellies etc etc. There is also a shelf/cupboard and further shelving, and under sink cupboard for toilet requisites. This example (Sail no 07) has only had two owners since launch in 1989 with the current owner since 1996. She has been cruised extensively on the South Coast, Channel Islands and regularly to Brittany as far as the Belon and Aven rivers, and raced successfully for a number of years in the Round the Island Race, scoring a second place in the Bridgedeck Catamaran class. With a new outdrive leg fitted around 2006 and a new engine upgrade to a yanmar 3GM 30 in 2014 she had a new hydraulic tiller ram fitted in 2017. She has been only very lightly used in the last 5 years and with a hardly used virtually new Zodiac aerodeck tender shore trips are a smooth ride. She has been recently antifouled and is currently undergoing a full service and refit of the outdrive leg. In need of some interior cosmetic work as the headlinings in the cabins have failed and have been removed, she will make a fine family cruising boat or liveaboard once recomissioned.
