Remarks :
Popular trailer sailor with lifting keel and twin axle trailer. Built by Etap Yachting of Belgium in 1989 to a Jac de Ridder design. She is classed as "unsinkable" due to construction methods. Fun to sail and brilliant in light airs. The mast can be stepped by two people without any bother. This makes exploring remote areas a possibility as boatyard services are not required.
Powered by a reliable and economical Yamaha 2-stroke, 8hp outboard situated in a well in the cockpit. 4-Berth accommodation including small galley and toilet. Sails include a mainsail and a furling genoa. New colour plotter and DSC VHF.
Accommodation :
Below decks is bright, clean and comfortable. As with most yachts below 25 feet, this is glorified camping, but nonetheless, you will be pleasantly surprised with what's on offer.
The yacht sleeps 4 with 2 berths in the saloon and two in the forward cabin. The fabric is "Etap" duck egg blue with the Etap motif. There is decent storage aft under the cockpit and beneath and behind the saloon settee berths. Saloon table can be used outside in the cockpit and when not in use is stored beneath the cockpit sole. At the forward end of the port settee is a small galley with 2-burner gas hob and sink with hand pumped water. Opposite galley is a storage area and electric switch panel.
In the bow is a two berth cabin which can be made into a double. There is a Sea toilet here with wooden lid. Flooring is new synthetic teak in excellent condition.
