The Etap 28i replaced the Etap 28, designed by Van de Stadt in 1978, and was a more modern boat in every respect. A feature of the Etap 28i is its double skin foam filled construction making it unsinkable and with high condensation resistance.
With a generously roached, battened mainsail and working jib set on a sporty, 7/8 fractional rig and a fixed, deep-fin keel, she is a sharp performer, enjoyable to sail, good for short-handed cruising and ideal for a couple with two children.
The main cabin and forepeak are open-plan, under a semi- flush deck, with good headroom up to the forecabin, which is curtained off from the saloon. There is a large aft cabin, a good galley, spacious heads abaft the companionway and a reasonable chart table.

Owner Comments
The Etap 28i 'Zadig' is in good condition having been well cared for by her present owner.
Etap make much about the safety aspect of their yachts being unsinkable. The double skin construction also makes this a well insulated craft for sailing in cooler Scottish waters.
