I was very pleased to see the general condition of this boat when I first went aboard. She is in great shape! The deck and cockpit area are large and comfortable. There is a dodger and a full Bimini. Sides could easily be added if she were to head to colder temperatures. She is set up for single/short handling with an autopilot and mast pulpit, Tides main track, roller furling Genoa and a remote windlass!
She is powered by a PerkinsHP that was rebuilt in 2016 along with the transmission. Most of the sea cocks and the through hulls were all replaced as was the shaft and prop. Also the dripless shaft seal and the cutlass bearing were replaced at this time.
The rigging was inspected in 2018 and the chain plates were replaced on advice of the inspector.
The cockpit area is large with lots of storage space in the lazaretts. The cushions for the cockpit seating are in great shape and there is a folding teak table for outdoor dining and entertaining.
Downstairs, you will find six and a half feet of headroom and a spacious layout. The large forward salon converts to a spacious king size V- Berth. Additionally, there is a private cabin on the port side with drawers and a hanging locker. A door from the cabin provides access to the midships head which has a composting toilet making a holding tank unnecessary. There is a generous navigation area and a quarter berth in the aft.
The galley is midship so the Chef is front and center and cannot hide in the aft! There is great galley space including stove and oven and there is a generous refrigeration/freezer area. The dining salon is large and comfortable and converts into a king size sleeping berth! The nav station area is fully equipped and the quarter berth adds an additional sleeping area. Access to the engine room is simple and easy with room to work!
The current owners put quite a bit of love and care into her and it shows. LED lights are prevalent above and below decks. There are two 175 watt solar panels above the Bimini that provide current to the Pro Star 30 inverter. The boat is also wired to have a wind generator if desired.
The boat is ready to go and comes with 3 fuel cans, 3 diesel cans, 1 water can, a portable generator to run the 20 gph water maker. This boat is ready for a new owner and new adventures. Her mast clearance is 46 feet which means she can make it under the bridge in order to cross Lake Okeechobee. Her draft is only 4.5 feet which makes her an excellent choice for navigating the shallower waters of the Keys and the Bahamas .
