DESCRIPTION

1928 50ft Elco Deckhouse Motoryacht

"QUEEN O’ SCOTS" enjoyed an exciting past with trips up and down the coast from New England to Key West and was a frequent resident of Newport Harbor. The hull and bottom have been refastened, had a new transom installed, and the floor stringers have been replaced with new mahogany frames. The bottom was just caulked and painted.

Vessel Walkthrough

Port and starboard Salon doors give entry to the Elco. Facing aft, there is a staircase leading aft on starboard. At the bottom of the stairway is a companionway leading to the aft staterooms. Outboard on starboard is a day bed. Across on port is the Guest Stateroom that can be converted to an office. Next aft is the enclosed head and continuing all the way aft, is the Master Stateroom.

Back in the Salon you will find an L-Shaped settee on port. There is a dining/coffee table. The Helm is on centerline at the forward end of the Salon. There is a Nav station on starboard. The Salon windows slide open. On the forward portside of the Salon there is a staircase leading to the Galley and Crew’s quarters (or 3rd stateroom). At the base of the stairs is the forward Head. Just ahead and on portside is the Galley counter, sink, stove, etc. Across on starboard, is reserved for storage. Continuing forward you will find the Crew Stateroom consisting of 2 single berths with storage underneath.

There is a small Aft Deck with room for seating 3 to 4. There are walk-around covered side decks. The Forward Deck has a substantial hatch.
