DESCRIPTION

She is a 1987 Gib'Sea 372, three cabin layout, with a recent Beta diesel. She is a safe, spacious and comfortable cruising boat, that has been well set up for long distance sailing.

Accommodation

Eight berths in three cabins (two in the saloon).

Forward Cabin: Double berth with storage under, side locker and hull shelving.

Heads compartment: to port and aft of the forward cabin. Fitted with Jabsco marine toilet, basin and shower.

Saloon: Dinette to port and settee to starboard with large saloon table. Outboard and below berth storage plus lee cloth. The forward facing chart table is to starboard and the galley is to port.

Galley: Plastimo Neptune 2500 gimballed gas cooker. Twin stainless steel sinks (hot and cold pressurised supply). Top loading ice box and fridge. Plenty of outboard and under worktop stowage.

Aft Cabins: Two double cabins in starboard and port aft with hanging lockers, shelving, seat and very large double berths.

Diesel fired central heating system. Blue fabric upholstery with beige covers. Teak and holly sole boards. Numerous opening ports throughout vessel.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway. Beta HE marine diesel engine. 30hp. Three cylinders. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to 2 bladed fixed propeller. Engine hours roughly 600. 100 litre fuel tank. 6 knots cruising speed.

Construction

Built by Gibert Marine in 1987. White grp hull with sugar scoop type transom. White grp coachroof with moulded non skid decks. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Teak to cockpit seats, transom and coachroof hand rails. Alloy toe rails. Teak grating to cockpit sole. Stainless steel safety rails and stanchions. Many opening deck hatches and windows. Copper coated under the waterline. 2017 survey available.
