DESCRIPTION

This is a lifting keel example of the GibSea 282. She has had three owners from new and has been very lightly used throughout her life. The mast is mounted in a tabernacle with a lowering system. Sails, upholstery, woodwork, navigation equipment are original but in excellent condition. Well worth inspection.

Accommodation

The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. In saloon, dinette to port (converts to a double) with galley opposite. Stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water system 120 litre freshwater capacity. Eno two burner gimballed gas cooker with oven. Chart table to starboard. Separate heads to port with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. Holding tank. Aft double cabin to starboard with large double berth and hanging locker.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the companionway, Yanmar 2GM20 twin cylinder 19hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Rope cutter. Single lever control. 50 litre fuel capacity.
