  1. Built 1988 by Duffy & Duffy, Brooklin, Maine. Now known as Atlantic Boat.
  2. Designed by Spencer Lincoln.
  3. Hull number DUJ08298L787.
  4. Hailing port – New Smyrna Beach, FL
  5. Length – 42’. Length overall – 44’.
  6. Beam – 14’6”.
  7. Draft – 4’8”.
  8. Displacement – 32,000+- pounds.
  9. The hull design is that of an offshore Maine lobster boat. It is a built-down, semi-planing design with a round bilge, deep keel, and large rudder for stability and handling.

Ground Tackle

  1. 45 pound CQR with 50’ of 3/8” chain and 250’ of 5/8” brait (8 strand rode.)
  2. 45 pound Manson Supreme with 50’ of 3/8” chain and 250’ of 5/8” brait (8 strand rode.)

Motor, Transmission, &Amp; Generator

  1. Single Yanmar 6CX530 motor installed new in 2013 by Noank Village Boatyard in Noank, CT. It was purchased from and certified by Bayside Diesel of Mystic, CT. 530 hp. All electronic. Well serviced. 810 hours. Red line RPM is 2900. Our typical cruise is 2500 RPM which, depending upon current, sea state, and wind gets us 13 to 15 knots burning 16 to 17 gallons per hour. Hull speed is around 7.5 knots where trawler economy is achieved. Serial number is 0040.
  2. The transmission, also new in 2013, is a Kanzaki model KMH70A, serial number 00138. Ratio is 2.07 – 1.
  3. The engine/transmission controls are Yanmar fly-by-wire installed with the 2013 re-power.
  4. The stuffing box was replaced in 2013. A 2.5” shaft drives a 4 bladed prop.
  5. 8 kw Kohler generator with about 700 hours. Model 8 EOZ, serial number 0668008.
  6. In addition to any engine-mounted filters, the Yanmar is serviced by 2 Racor turbine filters.

Additional

  1. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heat using 2 systems. The saloon unit is 16,000 BTU and the stateroom unit is 12,000 BTU. Both condensers were replaced in 2017.
  2. Raritan hot water heater, replaced in 2013.
  3. Vacuflush sanitation system with fresh water flush. The vacuum unit was replaced in 2013.
  4. Xantrax Freedom SW 2000 charger/inverter, new 2018.
  5. Charles isolation transformer which segregates the boat from shore power.
  6. 3 50 amp shore power cords, 2 50’ and 1 25’. Various adapters including one which allows the use of 2 30 amp shore outlets when a single 50 amp is unavailable.
  7. Vetus bow thruster.
  8. Miele dishwasher.
  9. Kenmore washer-dryer.
  10. Norcold 7 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer. New in 2018.
  11. Microwave.
  12. Trim tabs.
  13. Bimini top and side curtains new in 2015.

Batteries

  1. 4 6 volt AGMs under the master bunk which power the bow thruster and anchor windlass.
  2. 3 12 volt 8D lead-acid batteries under the guest bunk for house use. New 2018.
  3. 2 12 volt 8D AGMs also under the guest bunk for the Yanmar. New 2017.
  4. 1 12 volt AGM for the generator in the engine room.
  5. Chargers – the 8D’s are charged by the inverter/charger, the 6 volt and generator batteries have their own chargers.

Dinghy

  1. Mercury 10.5’ RIB purchased about 2006.
  2. Outboard is a Nissan 9.8 HP 2 cycle, purchased in 2001.
  3. The dinghy is launched using a 120 volt motor with stainless steel cable mounted to a crane on the flybridge. The rake is adjusted using a block & tackle.

Safety

  1. Life jackets are located in the fiberglass storage box on the flybridge and in the saloon.
  2. Flares, flag, and strobe are located in the stairs leading to the staterooms.

Paint

  1. Bottom Pettit ablative in December 2017.
  2. Non-skid paint with Awlgrip in April 2017.
  3. All exterior brightwork and most interior is Sikkens Cetol Natural Teak and is maintained as needed.
