DESCRIPTION

An excellent example of this popular size of Dutch steel motorcruiser constructed to a very high standard with a more seagoing underwater profile than normally found. Her layout has also been updated to a very high standard to offer more comfortable accommodation with a superb heads and galley. A full Mastervolt installation including inverter and genset has also allowed for gas to be removed and replaced with electric Miele cooking facilities for convenience and safety afloat. Completely repainted in 2017 along with new cockpit enclosure and a new electric windlass. She presented in excellent condition and needs to be seen to be appreciated!

Viewing by prior appointment only through our Essex office on.

Accommodation

'De Reusjes' is fitted out to a high standard and her layout offers up to five berths with two double sleeping cabins away from the main accommodation. It would also be possible to modify this to offer a double berth in the wheelhouse rather than a single berth if required.

FORWARD CABIN: Twin V-berths (an infill could be created if required) with storage beneath, portlights and opening hatch to deck.

HEADS COMPARTMENT: Spacious heads compartment to port with electric flush marine toilet, holding tank (with deck or overboard discharge), full size shower enclosure, washbasin with mixer tap, vanity unit and storage.

GALLEY: Re-fitted L-shaped galley with generous work surfaces, equipped with a Miele 3-burner electric ceramic hob, Miele combination oven, grill with microwave, Miele refrigerator, stainless steel dual sink and ample stowage space. All equipment can be powered by shore power, inverter (within power draw limits), or generator to allow cooking whilst passage making without the safety concerns of gas.

WHEELHOUSE SALOON: The saloon has excellent natural light and ventilation creating a very comfortable area to relax or entertain in. L-shaped settee to starboard with storage beneath, currently used as an occasional single berth but could be modified to offer a double berth if required. Large free standing teak table with useful bottle storage. Internal helm position forward to port with position for a removable helmsman chair, instrumentation and navigation equipment. Storage unit offering further easily accessed stowage to port. Steps up to aft deck and down to aft cabin.

OWNERS AFT CABIN: The full-width cabin has a kingsize berth and excellent storage in numerous lockers, drawers, and shelves. Opening hatch to aft deck (with built-in emergency steps) and four portlights. Zanussi compact washing machine concealed in a large cabinet with further storage space.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Webasto diesel fired warm air heating system with outlets to all cabins. Hot and cold pressurised water system via calorifier with immersion coil. 400L Fresh water tank and 100L holding tank. Blue check upholstery in saloon. High quality teak interior fit-out with teak and holly sole boards, cream carpets and complimenting curtains throughout. The hull sides and ceilings have been insulated for improved heat insulation and soundproofed saloon floor panels fitted to reduce noise when underway.

EXTERNAL SPACE: The raised aft cockpit has a helm position to starboard with pedestal mounted helm and navigators seats and a large open aft deck offering excellent space for alfresco dining and entertaining. Full aft cockpit enclosure which can be used as a bimini and is designed to allow easy access fore and aft. Wide side decks with good steps, high guard rails with side gates and excellent safe level surfaces make deck work safe and easily manageable. Twin deep aft lockers provide plenty of space for warps, fenders, tender and more, with stainless steel davits also fitted. Bathing platform with folding swim ladder.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the wheelhouse sole, Daf 575 6-cylinder 105hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger to keel cooling unit for simplicity and increased reliability. Single lever controls and hydraulic wheel steering at both helms. Twin 285 litre fuel tanks with balance valve. Shaft drive via PRM hydraulic gearbox to 3-bladed propeller. Vetus bow thruster with controls at both helms.

The current owner has maintained the engine to a high standard and the engine has proved very reliable during their nine years of ownership. Current engine hours are displaying at 1241hrs although it is believed that this may have been reset and that the actual engine hours could be closer to 2000hrs as this seems very low for a craft of her style and age. When cruising at around 7-8kts the fuel consumption is approximately 5 litres per hour, at canal speeds around 2.5 litres per hour offering an impressive cruising range and very low fuel costs for a boat of this size.

Electrical Systems

4 x 12v 200ah Gel sealed batteries (3 x domestic, single engine start) single 12v genset start, charged via engine alternator. Complete Mastervolt electrical installation including re-wire, custom electrical distribution panel, Mass 12/80 battery charger, shorepower management system, Dakar Sine 12/2500w pure sine inverter and 6KVA whisper remote start diesel genset (all new 2000). Shorepower ring mains and immersion coil for water heating. 12v Sockets. Full interior lighting.

Construction

Van der Werff Multivlet believed to have been built in 1987 and first commissioned in 1990. Blue painted steel displacement hull with long keel profile (protecting rudder and propeller) and heavy duty rope fendering. White painted steel superstructure and grey decks. Dual station hydraulic wheel steering. 2.6m (8'6") Air draft with canopy folded down.

In 2017 the hull was media blasted back to bare metal and then coated with Jotun epoxy paint system. All windows were removed, the entire superstructure and decks were painted before the windows were re-bedded. All work was professionally carried out to a very high standard.
