We have been proud to be part of this project ; the German workmanship and accuracy of this build is simply outstanding, the best we have ever encountered anywhere. The design started as a progression from the TAG 60, but with all custom integration and wishes required by an experienced owner. 100% carbon everywhere, bowsprit, cabins : This is a state of the art vessel and the first Young Yacht Design to feature a reverse or axe bow design. The hull shape is exceptionally fast, with low rocker, high water plane, plus lots of balanced buoyancy forward, fine waterlines and yet it is able to be pushed very hard into waves, to pitch much less than conventional designs and with its deep angled asymmetrical daggerboards, it will sail to windward and deliver to the helmsman a stunning performance.
The interior is reasonably modest yet features stunning forward views through vertical, opening windows; easy access everywhere, no hidden part, strong, secure. Light air performance is very important and in this respect, the vessel features our trademark light air headsail configuration that sets it apart from other designs.

This Custom Young 65 Performance Catamaran is powered by two Yanmar SD60 75hp diesel engines each with 3-blade Gori folding propellers.
The two engine rooms are carbon and fully insulated.
There are two Side Power bow thrusters housed in the forepeaks of each hull, along with a Bauer diving compressor, three diving cylinders, and the gravity system holding tanks.
There is also a 8500i/3000rpm Fisher Panda Generator, an Aquatech 160l/h watermaker and a 3kg LG washing machine.
Rigging on this Custom Young 65 features a Hallspars carbon 24m rotational wingmast and a carbon 9m boom with easy access zipped lazy bag. She also has a carbon bowsprit and all Dyneema running rigging.

This state of the art Young 65 performance catamaran has a full-carbon sandwich construction, with 100% vacuum infusion and Corecell Guritt foam insulation. She is finished with light cork both on deck and within the enclosed cockpit.
Her carbon forebeam is built with an integrated carbon bowsprit and two net trampolines are fixed to longitudinal carbon beams.
EOS has two asymmetric daggerboards which are electrically controlled at the helm; there are two carbon helm stations with seats.
Her two carbon rudders are on an aluminium shaft with self-aligning bearings.

The fully enclosed cockpit of this Custom Young 65 features a full enclosure with large carbon sliding doors each side, and two fixed windows.
The cockpit area features a large U-shaped seating area with cushions and backrests, and storage beneath. There is also a carbon cockpit table, as well as a grill and 2 induction plates.
Aft are two further bench seats, the two transoms offer access to the engines and feature passerelles and removable swimming ladders. There are also carbon davits to aft.
The interior of this Custom 65 performance catamaran is also built in carbon with contrasting white paint creating a minimalist and modern style.
The central raised saloon area offers seating and a carbon dining table, there is also a large TV stored in the ceiling.

Accommodation for 8 is provided on this Young 65 catamaran.
The port hull features a dedicated owners suite, with double cabin to aft featuring a large double berth. There is a dressing area with plentiful storage and a desk area at midships. Forward is a spacious bathroom boasting twin washstands, a carbon electric toilet, and a large shower compartment with glass doors.
The starboard hull offers two further guest cabins, a large double to aft and a twin cabin forward.
There are also two further bathrooms located in the starboard hull, a day heads is located at midships and there is a further large bathroom with separate shower compartment forward.
There are two further berths on a day bed on the upper deck, beside the chart table.
