Wooden Ships Comments McNulty lug dinghy McNulty lug rig sailing dinghy built by McNutly's to the usual high standard. A simple yet pretty dinghy, very easy to rig and launch but large enough to carry several people. A tidy and ready to go dinghy with incredibly pretty lines and in good sound condition. Complete with rig and oars she is ready to go afloat. McNulty are known for their good quality and nicely designed boats. She will be a joy to row but will also sail nicely and at only 10' she is light enough for one person to launch and recover alone making for very easy and relaxing sailing.   Construction Clinker planked in mahogany all copper fastened to steam bent oak timbers. All varnished inside and out. Oak rubbing strake with mahogany gunnels and varnished mahogany transom. Single rowing position with reinforced rowlock positions. Varnished mahogany thwarts and slatted sole boards. All bronze deck fittings including fairleads and cleats. Transom hung rudder with bronze pintles. Varnished oak tiller Centreplate raised and lowered with a tackle.   Rig Standing lug rig on a keel stepped varnished pine mast with varnished pine boom and lug yard. Mainsail by Doyle Sails in tan terylene with a single reefing point.
