You will not want to miss out on this steel Custom Long Range Trawler, built with one purpose in mind, to travel oceans! The owner is aging, and wants his dream to go to someone else who will put her to good use. Only 150 hours on the like new John Deere, is an indication that she is not really a "used" boat, and does not need much to get her ready to go. If your dream is to take a trawler offshore, here's your chance. Solid steel to give confidence under foot and underway!
From the dock onto a large swim platform with staples, allows for an safe, easy step from dock onto the vessel. There is a good sized working aft deck from which to enter the salon, or head up to the sundeck/boatdeck. Once in the salon, you feel very at home in a light wood/dark wood contrasting interior, that has a very contemporary feel. Clean lines and modern brushed stainless appliances help give you the feel that you are in a chic apartment rather than an ocean crossing trawler!
A well appointed galley is forward of the salon (to port) and once again has nice clean lines with stainless appliances. Useful amenties are a four burner propane stove and oven, side by side fridge and freezer, drawer style freezers, dishwasher and plenty of storage for longer passages. Centerline in the galley, is a propane stove that warms the vessel thoroughly, and with it's stainless heat shield, it looks good too.
From the galley, its forward, up stairs to the pilothouse with it's watch berth and settee aft of the helmsman's chair for the person on watch to have company and the captain a spot to sleep while underway. Some newer Furuno electronics give you a good base to build your electronics suite of your choice. The bow thruster with controls in the pilothouse, makes maneuvering very easy. There are port and stbd pilothouse doors for easy access to foredeck and side decks as needed.
Back down into salon/galley are to get to accommodation stairs to get to V-berth and Guest staterooms. The V-berth has twin bunk beds for add that extra crew member or grandkid, and then a full size berth in the guest stateroom. Both are large and comfortable. These two staterooms share a head and shower. The ensuite master stateroom is aft of these two, and not small by any means. The ensuite head and shower is roomy, even for a big guy like me. There is an access at the aft end of the master, to ascend to the aft end of the salon.
There is also access to the wide open engine room from this accommodation deck. In the center you have the virtually new 200hp John Deere main engine, with only 170 hrs of total running time. To Stbd is a fuel tank with large access ports, and the top is used as a work bench with large stainless tool chests. . Fancy that! Easy to get to fuel tanks!! Over to port, is the two MagnaSine inverters, freshwater accumulation tank, more worktop space on top of the portside fuel tank, with side by side washer and dryer (Asko Swedish quality) to get those salty clothes washed and dry! Under washer and dryer, you have a dual Racor fuel filtration system for seamless running and filter changing. There is another dual Racor fuel filtration system aft of the main engine mounted to the bulkhead. The generator is located aft of engine and near washer and dryer. All exhausts are drystacked and well insulated. Engine and genset are both keel cooled. Water tight doors at both ends of the engine room for dual access.
Exterior, owner chose to paint in more of a commercial non high gloss style. There is plenty of space to move around the Portuguese bridge to the foredeck etc. There are stainless handrails all the way around which makes hanging fenders a snap. The boatdeck is large and could handle a pretty good size tender, lifted with the davit. Forward of the boat deck is the radar mast on the pilothouse roof. If one wanted to, you could add a steering position to teh pilothouse roof to use in maneuvering. There are well thought out Paravane Stabilizers to make for a more stable ride in the ocean. The anchor might be a bit on the small side! Haha! Nicely slotted in the bow, it is not an annoyance in the helmsman's line of sight, and is more than enough for the vessel. Good large fairleads make line handling easy when transiting locks, or docking in that foreign port.
