The Stella was a very popular design, derived from the Folkboat but slightly bigger all round with more volume and a bigger rig. To this day there is still an active fleet racing on the east coast and they have proven themselves as capable and easily handled pocket cruiser racers. This yacht has undergone a period of meticulous maintenance over the last 10 years in present ownership with new keel bolts, complete re-wire, strip and re-paint of the interior and exterior hull, new deck sheathing and a new boom. She is a well equipped and very well presented example, in absolutely ready to sail condition. She has been subtly optimised for racing but still retains many of her original features. $ berths, including 2 pipe cot berths in the forepeak make her ideal for cost effective family cruising and racing. The Stella is just light enough to go on a trailer and be towed on the road giving flexibility on winter storage and generally helping to reduce running costs.   Length on deck 26’ Length waterline 20’ Beam 7’6” Draft 4’ Thames Tonnage     Construction Clinker planked in mahogany, copper rivet fastened to steam bent oak timbers.
